Korba : Indian Army Brings Relief to Flood-Hit Families in Rajouri’s Kangota Village Under Operation Sadbhavana.

In a swift humanitarian response, the Indian Army has come to the aid of flood-affected families in Kangota village of Budhal area, Rajouri district, by setting up temporary shelters under its flagship initiative, Operation Sadbhavana.
Recent heavy rains and flash floods wreaked havoc across the region, leaving several families homeless. Acting promptly, Army personnel moved in to erect relief tents to provide immediate shelter, prioritizing women, children, and the elderly.
Local social activist Farooq Inqlabi expressed gratitude towards the Army, stating, “At a time when many families have lost everything, the Indian Army has once again stood by the people. Their support goes beyond security — it reflects humanity and unity in difficult times.”
Villagers described the relief effort as a lifeline, bringing safety and stability to a community struggling with the aftermath of the disaster.
The Army has assured continuous monitoring of the situation and pledged additional support, including medical aid and essential supplies, if required.
Community leaders have called for stronger civil-military cooperation to deal with such emergencies in remote regions, acknowledging the Army’s unwavering commitment to the welfare of the people of Jammu & Kashmir.
