The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of SKC Govt. Degree College (GDC) Poonch organized a one-day workshop on “NAAC: Essential Requirement” at the Innovation Centre of the college on Wednesday.

He emphasized the need for collective efforts by faculty and staff to achieve excellence in teaching, learning, research, and administration in line with NAAC criteria.

The proceedings of the programme were conducted by Dr. Amjid Ali, Staff Secretary of the College.

During the technical session, Dr. Sarshad Hussain delivered an in-depth lecture covering key aspects of NAAC, including the Revised Accreditation Framework (RAF), seven criteria of NAAC, key indicators and metrics, quantitative and qualitative metrics, Institutional Information for Quality Assessment (IIQA), Self-Study Report (SSR) preparation, data management and documentation, and the role of IQAC in sustaining a quality culture.
