जम्मू/ : Power Infrastructure Strengthened in Shiv Mandir Area, 25 KVA Transformer Inaugurated.

In a significant step towards resolving long-pending power-related issues, a new 25 KVA transformer was inaugurated on Saturday in the Shiv Mandir area of Rajouri town.
The installation has brought relief to local residents, with expectations of improved and more stable electricity supply in the area.
The inauguration ceremony was led by Rajesh Gupta ( Bittu Shah) Rajouri Beopar Mandal President and former Councillor w no. 7) along with the Executive Engineer of the Power Development Department (PDD), Rajouri. Local traders, social representatives, and residents of the area were also present on the occasion.
Addressing the gathering, speakers highlighted that due to the growing population and increasing commercial activities in the Shiv Mandir area, the demand for electricity had risen steadily. Excess load on the old transformer often resulted in frequent power cuts and low voltage issues. With the commissioning of the new transformer, these problems are expected to be largely resolved.
On the occasion, gratitude was expressed to the district administration, particularly Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Abhishek Sharma, and the entire PDD department for their cooperation and prompt action.
Rajesh Gupta Bittu stated that the project was completed within a short span of time due to the proactive approach of the administration and the power department.
Keeping in view the ongoing examination season to ensure that students’ studies are not affected, along with the requirements of local traders and the upcoming holy month of Ramzan, a request was also made to the PDD to ensure regular and uninterrupted power supply.
The department was further urged to put a strict check on unscheduled and frequent power outages in the area.
