The Jammu & Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) announced an important organizational appointment concerning the Rajouri district unit of the party.
JKPCC President Tariq Hameed Karra has appointed Ashok Sharma as the Working District President of Rajouri. Mr. Ashok Sharma, who has previously held the position of State Secretary, JKPCC, has been entrusted with this responsibility by the Congress High Command in recognition of his longstanding service and organizational experience.
This position had fallen vacant following the assignment of former Minister Shabir Khan as Chairperson of the Pahari–ST Department. In order to ensure continued administrative and organizational coordination, Mr.Ashok has now been designated to serve as the Acting District President of Rajouri.
The JKPCC leadership has expressed confidence that this appointment will further strengthen the party’s presence and organizational effectiveness in Rajouri district.
